About our Neighborhood
Hidden in the Westside of Atlanta, Howell Station began development as the Western and Atlanta Railroad came through to Atlanta in the late 1800s. While the neighborhood was long ago considered to be located in the rural country outside of the city center, and was then nestled among the light industrialization of the western edges of the city, the neighborhood now thrives as its own hidden gem within the booming revitalization of Atlanta's Westside development.
No one is so rich that he can do without a good neighbor.
Knight Park
The heart of Howell Station is Knight Park. The park is an open space with sloping hills and mature trees, tennis courts, and a joyful playground for the community's children. Friends of Howell Station is HSNA's 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which raises funds and advocates for the maintenance and renovation of Knight Park.
